Down the rabbit hole

It’s late December and Christmas approaches. Rapidly. But I’m still feeling a lot more fallsy than Christmasy. This odd state of suspended animation is due in no small part, I think, to the fact that fall simply refuses to leave. It lingers and lingers and lingers with no proper frost, even, as a prefiguration of the coming snows. What to do? Time to just take matters in hand and get spirited! So I’ve been purposefully wandering the City, taking in a few Christmas fairs, some Christmas cheer here and there. This post may seem a little off the beaten garden path that my Scenes from the City usually take. But this one is a special request from the City and this is the season of giving so… I’ve thrown myself down that wacky, wonderful Christmas rabbit hole called the windows at Bergdorf Goodman. Happy Christmas and enjoy!
