Highline Botanical Garden
SeaTac, Washington

The Highline Botanical Garden in the City of SeaTac was started in 2000 when plantings from the one-acre private garden of Elda and Ray Behm were relocated here to make way for a proposed runway at the nearby SeaTac Airport. A fuchsia test garden is being planned by the Puget Sound Fuchsia Society for the south end of the Rose Garden but had not yet been installed as of this visit in 2008. A number of fuchsias, however, appeared throughout the garden in seeming anticipation of the test bed.  Visiting and contact information.
