It’s been a heck of a week!
I haven’t dared leave the house since last Thursday morning. If this inept city government’s hazardous roads aren’t bad enough, all the negligent drivers on them aren’t worth it either. And little more freezing rain again last night to prolong the agony. Geesh.
My temperature sensors are now all reading about 32 F (O C). Barely. We’re supposed to be warming into the low 50s (10-12 C) for at least a week and a half. Let’s see. Relief from the ice has been pulled away a couple of times already this past week.
On the positive side, I didn’t loose power like so too many others despite a few anxious blinkages. From the porch and the windows, the garden doesn’t seem to have suffered too badly on the surface. But I’d like to get out there again already!
