The 2010 Oregon Fuchsia Society Convention in Portland, Oregon
The convention kicked off on Thursday, September 30th with fuchsiana temptations galore available in the Vendor Room as the registrants slowly arrived for the check in. That night, the Western Fuchsia Species Society met in the lecture hall at 6:00. (This was followed by the Fuchsia Lore group. I wasn’t able to attend that meeting so there are unfortunately so pictures. Sorry!) After an introduction by the president of the species group, Debbie Metzger, presentations on the various sections of genus Fuchsia were given to the assembled members by the president, Gwen Jensen, Walt North, Frankie Dennison and Salli Dahl.
